Practical details
A single-day workshop for up to 16 participants costs between £2,800 and £3,600 depending on the programme. The two-day Foundations programme is £4,900. The three-day senior leadership retreat is priced at £8,500 for up to 12 participants. Travel and accommodation for the facilitator are included for venues within the UK and Ireland. For venues outside these areas, we add actual travel costs at the time of booking.
Yes. We deliver workshops via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Online sessions run in shorter blocks, typically two half-days rather than one full day, because screen fatigue sets in faster than it does in a physical room. The fee is the same as an in-person session; we invest extra preparation time in adapting exercises for a virtual format, including pre-posting materials and setting up breakout rooms in advance.
Between 8 and 16 for most programmes. Below 8, role-play exercises lose variety because the same pairs keep working together. Above 16, individual coaching time gets too thin for people to practise properly. For the senior retreat, we cap at 12 because the conversations need more depth and trust to work well.
We come to you. Most clients host workshops in their own offices or a nearby meeting room. If you prefer an off-site venue, we can recommend spaces we have used before in Belfast, Dublin, Manchester and London. For the senior retreat, we typically use a country-house venue with overnight accommodation; we handle the booking and include it in the retreat fee.
Content and outcomes
During the discovery phase (see our Process page for details), we interview 3 to 5 people from your team to understand the real challenges they face. We then rewrite the case studies and role-play scenarios so they reflect your industry, your team structure and the specific friction points that came up in those conversations. A generic scenario about "a difficult employee" becomes a scenario about a warehouse shift leader who keeps overriding safety protocols, or a product designer who misses sprint commitments.
Every participant leaves with a written action plan listing two or three specific behaviours they will change. The facilitator reviews each plan and sends written feedback within a week. At the 30-day mark, participants receive a short check-in email asking what they have tried and what is proving difficult. At 90 days, we do a second check-in. If a participant is struggling, we offer a 30-minute coaching call at no extra charge. We also send the commissioning manager a summary report covering aggregate feedback scores and themes.
Yes. Each participant receives a CPD-accredited certificate stating the programme name, the number of learning hours and the date. They can use this toward professional development requirements with bodies like the CMI, CIPD or ILM. We email the certificate as a PDF within five working days of the workshop.
It depends on the programme. The Foundations programme works best when everyone is at a similar level, because the exercises assume participants are new to management. The team alignment workshop deliberately mixes levels, since the whole point is to improve communication across reporting lines. For the senior retreat, we recommend keeping the group to directors and heads of department only, because the conversations about strategy and succession require a level of candour that is harder to achieve when junior staff are present.
Booking and logistics
We recommend at least six weeks. That gives us time for the discovery interviews, scenario writing and logistics. We have occasionally turned around a workshop in three weeks when a client had an urgent need, but the customisation is less thorough at that pace. The senior retreat needs at least ten weeks because of venue booking lead times.
Cancellations made 14 or more calendar days before the workshop date are free of charge. Between 7 and 13 days, we charge 50% of the agreed fee. Fewer than 7 days, the full fee applies. Rescheduling to a new date within three months is free if you give us at least 14 days notice.
If you book three or more workshops within a 12-month period, we apply a 10% discount to the total. We also offer a rolling annual agreement for organisations that want to run workshops quarterly; the annual fee is lower than booking four sessions individually, and it includes priority scheduling.
